“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”  Nelson Mandela

Sherria has always had a love for education and a passion for loving and nurturing young hearts to achieve their fullest potential in life.   Her previous Aspire experience as the Executive Assistant to the CFO and Special Projects Manager for the Facilities and Finance departments led her to the opportunity to work here at Richmond Technology Academy. Her educational and business management backgrounds made stepping into the role of RTA's first Business Manager a great transition and perfect fit. This opportunity allows her to combine her two passions into one job. Sherria has over ten years' corporate experience in administrative, facilities and operations fields,  and an educational background as a Teaching Assistant and Reading Instructor. She obtained her BA in Liberal Studies from California State University East Bay, and is currently pursuing her MBA, following her own belief that education is the key to successfully opening doors. Sherria is excited about helping to shape tomorrow's great minds for a brighter and better future!

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." - Steve Jobs

Adriana has been a Bay Area resident for the past 26 years, and lived in Mexico on the early years of her life. Adriana enjoys family gatherings, arts, reading, cooking, going to concerts and considers writing to be one of her passions and recently started blogging.
